Applying nanomaterials, we have to distinguish two cases:
The use of nanomaterials leads to a product with new properties.
The use of nanomaterials improves an existing product.
In the first case, the producer has to check if it is possible to push this new product into the market, whereas in the second case the price is the crucial question.
